Samuele, known as Sami, is a young food delivery rider who spends his days cycling across Milan, travelling from one end of the city to the other. On New Year’s Eve, while the city bursts into celebration beneath dazzling lights, he delivers a huge sushi order to a luxurious villa on the city’s northern outskirts. Invited to stay for the evening, Sami meets Nia, and the two instantly form a powerful connection. But as a new romance begins to blossom, an impulsive decision will have fatal consequences, forcing Sami to decide whether to face the consequences of his actions.

Roan Johnson (1975) was born to an English father and a mother from Basilicata, but considers himself Pisan at heart. He has written several books, including Prove di felicità a Roma Est (Einaudi), Dovessi ritrovarmi in una selva oscura and La Naneide (Mondadori). He has also written and directed feature films such as I primi della lista, Fino a qui tutto bene, Piuma, and State a casa, as well as television films including La concessione del telefono and La stagione della caccia. His television series credits include I delitti del BarLume, Monterossi, and the forthcoming Il capo perfetto. He is the father of Jacopo and Arturo.

Dade (Davide Pavanello, 1977) is a film composer, multi-platinum music producer, founder of INRI, member of Linea 77, and bassist for Italian rapper Salmo. In 2023, he co-composed the soundtrack for Gloria! with Margherita Vicario, which won the David di Donatello, Nastro d’Argento, and Globo d’Oro awards. He subsequently composed the scores for Io e il Secco, STRIKE – Figli di un’era sbagliata, and the Netflix series Il capo perfetto. He is also one of the founders of Ezechiele 25:17, the only agency in Italy dedicated to representing film composers.
