Il Grande Giaffa Giaffa the Great

Directed by Marco Santi
Italy 2026
Runtime 100'

Giacomo Falta is a man ignored by everyone, unable to find his place in the world. When he meets the charismatic Giason the Great, the man who embodies everything he has always wanted to be, he makes a dangerous decision, convinced that putting on a different face is all he needs to do to finally be seen. Thus begins a long night, in which the boundary between identity and illusion grows increasingly blurred, to the point where Giacomo’s very existence is put at risk.

SIC@SIC 2026 - Marco Santi

Marco Santi (1990) is an Italian director working in film, advertising, and music video production. In his work, he often explores themes of identity, the inability to communicate, and the desire to belong, through a lens that hovers between realism, irony, and grotesque distortion. Il Grande Giaffa marks his feature film debut.
