Twelve blessed eggs protect Lucia’s wedding from the evil eye. When two of them disappear, her older sister Elena is tasked with finding them. Together, the two sisters embark on a sun-drenched journey through shared bonds and distances: the ritual must be completed.

Francesca Trovato (1997) is a director and screenwriter. In her work, she explores the relationship between memory, identity, and human landscapes, with a particular focus on the intersection between tradition and modernity.
Together, they are developing the feature-length documentary Lunàdiga, which was awarded the IDS Solinas Documentary Award. Gusci is their latest short film.
